It is easy to transfer a listing between VacationRentals.com accounts. The first step is to ensure the listing is active and not expired. Deleted or expired listings cannot be transferred.

 

The next step is to ensure you have two accounts. One to transfer from and one to transfer to. If you only have one account, you will need to create another account. This can be accomplished by clicking on “List Your Rental” on the top of the VacationRentals.com homepage and following step 2 (Registration).”

 

To transfer a listing, you must login to either of the accounts via Home Owner Login and click on "Transfer Listing to Another Account". Follow the simple directions and the listing will be transferred immediately.

 

If you are working with another owner to move a listing from their account to your account or visa versa, either the current owner of the listing or the recipient of the listing may complete the transfer. The username and password for both accounts will be needed. We recommend that the owner of the account that DOES NOT complete the transfer change their password temporarily to a generic term to be given to the person making the transfer. This will allow them to give access to make the transfer and when the transfer is complete, the password should be changed back to a more secured password.
