How to Transfer a VRBO.com Listing to a New Owner

In the event that you sell your property, VRBO.com allows you to transfer your listing to the new owner.

VRBO.com will transfer a listing when the property that is advertised on the listing has been sold. If you wish to transfer your listing to the new owner of your property, please email to us the name and email address/phone number of the new property owner. We will contact him with instructions. When we receive a response from the new owner, we will then transfer the listing to him. The new member will be responsible for a $10 Membership Transfer fee.

Or, if you think you might own another vacation rental property in the same location, you can keep this listing and "recycle" it for the new property. We only require that the location be the same. (Of course, if you decide to keep & recycle the listing, it cannot be transferred now to the new property owners.)

Thanks for your cooperation. We will confirm via email when the transfer has been made.

NOTE: We CAN transfer the listing to the new owner, but we ask that you please NOT just change the contact information on your account. We like to archive all information, and if you simply remove yours to add his, we will not be able to do so.
