How to Place Images In Your HomeAway Advertisement

Uploading photos of your vacation rental home is simple if you follow these easy steps.

Step 1. Add Photo listing details, you will see a placeholder for your main listing page and a placeholder for extra photos you may wish to order. Think of them as slots in a photo album. Click “Add a photo” in the placeholder.

Step 2. Upload Photo After clicking “Add a Photo” you are provided with a screen where you can load photos from your computer into your online photo library. You can store up to 12 photos in your online photo library.

Step 3. Transfer Photo Click on a photo to transfer it from your online photo library to a photo placeholder in your listing.

Step 4. Edit Arrangement If you wish, you can use the arrows to re-arrange your photos in the placeholder. You can also write and edit a caption for each photograph.

Step 5. Save Click “save” to fix the photos and captions in the placeholder.

Step 6. Order Photos are FREE on HomeAway.com!

Once your photos have been approved, they will go live on your listing, and the “Awaiting approval” labels will disappear from your online photo library and placeholders.
