Christine explains the difference between her book, seminars, and the Owner Community site

Hi everyone!

I was on the road all last week giving owner seminars in Boston, New York City and Long Island. We had great groups in all three cities, but now that I'm back in the office, I feel like I'll probably still be in catch-up mode until it's time to leave again for the next seminar, in Washington, D.C.!

One question people always ask me is what's the difference between the seminars, the Owner Community website and my book, How To Rent Vacation Properties by Owner. While you'll be able to find a lot of the same information in all three places, my book is written based on my personal experience and research, and is intended as a straight-up, soup-to-nuts guide you can read all the way through.

The Owner Community site, meanwhile, is a more interactive group effort that pulls together articles, links, and multimedia presentations on pretty much any topic you can think of. (In other words, it's not exactly an easy “beach read.”)

And even if you've already read my book and downloaded every single webinar, podcast, sample form and article on the Owner Community site, attending a seminar still gives you the opportunity to get on-the-spot answers to your questions, network with other owners, and still learn more about the most important aspects of marketing and advertising your vacation home. I literally update the seminar presentation each time we do them based on questions we've gotten the previous time around, so you can be sure you're getting the most up-to-date info I have. (But, of course, don't take my word for it! You can read what some of our past attendees say about our seminars here.)

In addition to the D.C. seminar on June 17, we have another seminar scheduled for Denver on July 16. We'll also be coming to Baltimore and Philadelphia later this fall. And if you'd like us to come to your city, let us know!

Happy renting,

Christine
