Hi everyone!

Well, I am back from my vacation. I had such a wonderful time.  While I was gone I came to the conclusion that I want to retire now…too bad that isn't quite in my cards just yet.

While in Destin I broke my promise to not “work” while there. Surprise, surprise! What happened was there were a bunch of furniture stores going out of business and liquidating all of their inventory. I had planned in my budget for next year to replace some furnishings in the particular condo where we were staying. But because the furniture was so cheap, we decided it was just silly to not do it while we were there.

I got great deals on things like new twin mattresses for a hundred bucks, night stands for $99 and wall décor for as little as $2.99 (yes there is a decimal point there—two dollars and ninety-nine cents!) So I totally redecorated two bedrooms during my trip.

I also splurged and bought a new king bed even though this item was not on sale.  I decided to get rid of a queen bed and upgraded to a king. Now I have two bedrooms with king size beds. And get this, not ten minutes after I changed my ad did I got a call from a renter who booked that property. He said that he chose my property because it had two king beds! So the upgrade was well worth it already!
