Hi Everyone,

I wanted to use this week's blog to tell you about some changes we have had with our team here at the Owner Community (OC).

First off, Kristin Dorsett, who many of you know, has been promoted to a new role inside the company. This is an exciting position for Kristin as she'll be heading up some major projects and initiatives for HomeAway. While Kristin is not working directly with the OC team on a daily basis anymore, we have decided to leave her bio on the Meet the OC page because she has had a hand in developing so much of what you see on the OC.

I'm confident she'll use her nearly 3 years of experience working directly with homeowners to our advantage. So join me in congratulating Kristin on her new position!

Our quest to find a “new Kristin” was a long and difficult one. After poring over 400+ resumes, we hired the newest member of the team, Kerry Miller, who comes to us as a journalist from BusinessWeek. We are very excited to have her talent and fresh perspective on our team.

We've also hired a new (and very energetic) intern for the summer, Christy Carr.  She is a recent grad from Notre Dame and has already proven to be a BIG help!
