Well I listened to my interview with Mr. Arthur Frommer. Of course there are always 1000 could-a, would-a, should-a's when I listen to an interview after the fact, but overall I'm happy with it.

What was most interesting was the conversation that occurred after I was off the line. Mr. Frommer and his daughter and co-host, Pauline, were bantering with each other about which is better: renting though a property manager or through an owner. He and his daughter had a pretty interesting bantering session. She was saying that she thinks it's better to rent from a property manager and Mr. Frommer said it was better to rent through an owner. Back to my own world of renting. Last week I got a call from a past guest who realized that she forgot to empty the dresser drawers of her personal belongings before she left. While this seems like an easy fix, it was somewhat of a pain. I had to call the renters who were in there, confirm that they did indeed find the items and ask them to put them aside. Then I had to coordinate a time for my housekeeper to pick them up. Plus I had to arrange shipping. It was much more effort that I imagined, but my guests were truly grateful to get all their summer clothes back.
