Ask Christine: How Do You Keep Track of Video Games and DVDs?

Christine offers a tip for keeping up with video games and dvds at your vacation rental home.

Q: “I have a game cube to put in the unit and can not figure out a way to control the games. I do have some I can leave, but fear that would cause problems concerning lost games, etc... Any tips on this?” -Jackie, Destin (FL)

A: This is a concern for many owners when considering whether or not to leave a gaming system (with games) or DVD library for their guests. To help prevent keep your games from walking off, be sure to write your property name or address on each game with a permanent marker.

The other thing that you could do is create a book with the DVD's similar to this one.

On each page, label which games should be in each slot. Ask your housekeeper to check it after each guest to make sure all the games are in each slot.
