Christine's Blog: Arthur Frommer's Radio Show (6/20/2008)
Hi Everyone!
Ok, let me tell you - I am totally star-struck. The other day I was a guest on a pre-recorded radio show. I was told that it would be for Frommer's The Travel Show, which is a nationally syndicated radio show that broadcasts to nearly 400 radio stations as well as online.
When the producer called, he said that he was putting me over to Mr. Frommer. Mr Frommer?? Mr. Arthur Frommer??? The most famous travel guru himself, Mr Frommer??? Wow, what a privilege!
Right before the interview Mr. Frommer told me how much he was enjoying reading my book. It's an honor for the biggest and most-respected man in travel to give my work high praise. I was, for the first time in my life, left speechless.
During the interview we spoke about my book and the vacation rental industry. I'm not too sure how the radio show went because my head was in such a cloud. You can be the judge - let me know what you think. You can listen to it this Sunday over the web or check your local radio show listings.
