How To Handle Laundry For Back-to-Back Rentals

With a limited amount of time between back-to-back rentals, cleaning the sheets and towels in a timely manner can be a challenge.

Having one guest checkout and your next guest check-in on the same day is a good thing. It means that you're maximizing your rentals.  However, cleaning between guests in a timely manner can be quite challenging, especially when it comes to getting all the laundry washed.

There is a simple solution: Keep 2 full sets of linens in your rental. This way the housekeepers can replace the linens without having to wait for the washer and dryer.  Also, the housekeeper can take the soiled linens to be cleaned off-site.

This is pretty common practice for housekeepers. More often than not, your housekeeper will incorporate it into the regular fees they charge. Some housekeepers might also have linen service which will supply fresh sheets and towels each week.

A quick note: I buy all of my linens from SmartBargains online. They have great quality for very reasonable prices.
